Visit the American Banjo Museum, a national treasure in Bricktown & experience a world-class museum dedicated to preserving & promoting the music & heritage of American’s native musical instrument – the banjo. See the largest collection of banjos on public display in the world & witness the history of the banjo from past to present. Open Tues-Sat 11AM-6PM & Sun Noon-5PM. Closed Mon & Holidays.
Chesapeake Energy Arena
Whether it’s the action of an NBA game or the excitement of a live concert or world-class event, more than one million guests create memories each year at the Chesapeake Energy Arena. Major improvements are currently underway. The expansion and renovation project is being funded by a 15-month sales tax & the final phase of improvements will be completed following the 2010-11 Thunder basketball season.
