Matt Stansberry
Matt Stansberry grew up in Edmond, Oklahoma where he began playing guitar at the age of 14. While developing his guitar skills, he began writing songs and teaching himself how to multi-track record and produce albums. His singer-songwriter dad and vocalist mom performed throughout his childhood and helped shape his love for music. Matt soon began forming bands with his brother Joe, who is also a solo artist when not performing with Matt.
After graduating from college, Matt formed The Matt Stansberry Band. The band has released three independent records and has toured regionally and internationally. In 2009, Matt released a solo EP entitled Self Portrait,co-writing with long time friend and recording artist, Graham Colton. Tracks from the record have been featured on MTV Real World and in Nordstrom stores nationwide. Matt toured throughout Los Angeles and Europe in support of the record.
In 2010, he formed Nominee Design Studio, to work with artists on their branding. The new company afforded him the opportunity to work with record labels, managers and artists from all over the world, including Toad The Wet Sprocket, Matt Giraud, Red Light Management, Sony Music Japan, The Psychedelic Furs, Oklahoma City native Graham Colton & many others. Matt is currently writing, performing, touring, producing records for local artists, teaching at ACM’s 'School of Rock', and running his entertainment and music industry design studio.
